Can beauty be automated?
ILLUSTRATION | SATIRE | INTERACTIVE | STORYTELLING
'A very British Museum experience' is a commentary on the curation and collection of the British Museum in London, the poster child of similar colonial ethnographic museums in the UK.
An interactive illustration, it asks the viewer to question the politics and power of display while following the obvious hero objects and galleries in a playful, near-fictional sectional representation.
The illustration was designed as a very intimate, one-on-one interaction with the viewer.
There are an overwhelmingly large number of objects on display at a glance, but It is only in the small type and the hidden panels that the devil in the details appears. Much like the real museum experience.
